Ascend P2
As we said in our previous post that Huawei was expected to launch its Ascend P2 in the Mobile World Congress 2013 and so it has! The telecom giant unveiled its 4G flagship smartphone early in the MWC13. The handset is powered by a quad core 1.5 GHz processor and has Huawei’s indigenous chipset named K3V2. Though it was previously rumored that the smartphone will come with a 2 GB RAM but the company put 1 GB in the actual device. The 4.7 inch IPS LCD is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 2 so you should not fear that it will be scratched easily.
The CEO of Huawei’s Consumer Business unit, Richard Yu told the reporters that the category 4 LTE radio of the Ascend P2 was capable of supporting download speeds of 150Mb/s making it faster than Samsung’s Galaxy S III and Apple’s iPhone.
